Clinical Fellowship Application Process
Beginning in 2018, fellow applicants will begin the application process during the spring and early summer of their second-third year of residency training. The expected fellowship training start date is on July 1 following completion of the third year of residency training. Application materials must be submitted electronically through ERAS. Upon receiving materials in the Fellowship Director's Office in mid-July, completed applications will undergo an initial review process by a Fellow Selection Committee. Selected applicants will receive notification to schedule a personal interview at Rainbow Babies & children’s Hospital. The visit usually lasts one full day, starting at 9:00am and ending at 4:00pm, and generally occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between August and early December. Available dates for interviews are scheduled on a first-come-first-reserve basis. As interview dates fill up quickly, we strongly encourage applicants to initiate the scheduling process as soon as they receive a formal interview invitation.
Prior to the NRMP Rank List due date, a Fellow Selection Committee will meet to formally evaluate all interviewed candidates and to formulate a ranking list. Candidates will be notified of the match results by NRMP. [View our current fellow trainees]
